Umm Qarn Farm set out to
breed, train and race the best arabian racehorses in the
world. By carefully selecting top broodmare lines,
the farm has bred some world class arabian racehorses such as
Al Dahma, General, Dahess, Mutabahi, Al Anood to name
but a few. Umm
Qarn stallions, notably Amer, are a major part of the
Umm Qarn breeding programme, but are also available to
clients worldwide with the use of artificial
insemination. Amer's sons, Majd Al Arab, Nizam and
Mugadir are now standing at stud after successful racing
careers with Djebbel and the thoroughbred, Atlantic Air.
The majority of the
foals are now born in Qatar and some in France.
They then will be trained at the farm in Qatar for
racing at either three or four, depending on
