1972 chestnut mare by Baroud III out of Nevadour, bred in France. She raced once as a 3 year old. She has proved to be an exceptional broodmare with some outstanding progeny who have proved themselves as racehorses or a breeding stock.  She traces back to all old French lines and then to old desert lines particularly through her sire Baroud III, sire of Cheri Bibi but particularly a sire of some outstanding broodmares including Jina de Cassou, Laida du Cassou, Praline du Cassou and Floralie. Nerva du Cassou was imported to UK in 1995.
